The Programme
We follow the self-help principles of the 12-steps programme that has been successfully applied and validated in the treatment of drug and alcohol dependency the world-over. Our approach can be best described as the psycho-spiritual, where the psychological aspects of addiction are addressed and the spiritual health of the client is built up to enable recovery.
Our clients are eased into a mode of community therapy where they have an opportunity to share their experiences with one another in the light of the programme principles. Sharing and caring are the fundamental tools of community therapy, which has changed lives of innumerable people who have come through our programme.

Counselling
The recovery principles in place are spiritual in nature but not religious. Different sessions such as morning and night devotions, group discussions, and in-house self-help meetings are conducted almost on a daily basis. Resource people, who themselves have a recovery background, guide the clients through the rehabilitation process, and may lead input sessions as well as one-to-one counselling ,
Group and individual assignment sessions help each client to reflect upon and work their way through their emotions and habits in relation to addiction. The overall goal of therapy is to empower the client.

Recreation
Recreation, in the form of indoor and outdoor games, movies, etc., is an essential part of therapy. Emphasis is also placed on cultivating personal traits such as honesty and humility to resolve underlying issues and foster better understanding (and practice) of recovery principles.
